PE & Sport Premium: Provider Rationale
Supporting the 5 Key Indicators of the Primary PE and Sport Premium.
Our multi-sport programs are specifically designed to help schools maximise the impact of their Sport Premium funding. By partnering with us, your school can demonstrate measurable progress across the following Department for Education (DfE) indicators.
1. Increasing the Engagement of All Pupils
We specialise in “alternative” sports like Archery and Fencing that appeal to children who may feel disengaged by traditional football or netball.
- Impact: Higher participation rates among “less active” cohorts and increased physical confidence across the whole school.
2. Raising the Profile of PE & Sport as a Tool for School Improvement
Our Moral Code (incorporating Respect, Resilience, and Self-Control) aligns with your school’s behaviour policy.
- Impact: Sport becomes a vehicle for better classroom behaviour, improved focus, and a positive school culture.
3. Increased Confidence, Knowledge, and Skills of Staff
Our expert coaches (Antony, Dale, Chris, Matt, and Nick) provide high-quality CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for your teaching staff through team-teaching and observation.
- Impact: Teachers feel more confident delivering combat sports and target-based activities.
4. Broader Experience of a Range of Sports and Physical Activities
We introduce pupils to Olympic and non-traditional sports (Judo, Karate, Baseball) that they otherwise might never experience.
- Impact: A diverse, high-prestige PE curriculum that stands out to parents and inspectors.
5. Increased Participation in Competitive Sport
We conclude our blocks with Intra-School (Level 1) Competitions.
- Impact: This directly supports your school’s application for the School Games Mark (Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum).
Sustainability & Community
We don’t just “coach and go.” We provide pupils with direct pathways to local accredited clubs in the Northwest. This ensures that the impact of your Sport Premium investment continues long after our 5-week block is finished, creating a sustainable legacy of physical activity for your students.
